Trinity Mirror is hiring a Video Journalist to join our leading digital news team in Tunbridge Wells. This person will be responsible for creating compelling video news content for our digital platforms.

You will draw from a wide range of existing video and still images as well as shooting original material to ensure our websites are fed a constant stream of fresh content on a daily basis.
Can you spot the next viral video … before it goes viral?
The successful candidate will have a journalism qualification and/or relevant industry experience and be comfortable writing their own articles to accompany the video content.
This role requires you to write, source, shoot and post-produce.
While a large part of this role will be focussed on sourcing third-party video, you will also pitch ideas, research and write stories, capture material in the field and create compelling video news content.

Day-to-day the role will require a candidate who is fully cognisant of the news agenda and who can work as part of a team to ensure that all sections of our websites are covered with breaking and engaging news stories and video. Using filming and editing skills, you will be a self-starter with skills across Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premier Pro or similar.
