|Employer:||INS News Agency Ltd|
Trainee & junior reporters
|Employment Type:||Full time|
Are you a reporter who has had enough of donkey derbys and planning meetings and wants to break into the national journalism?
INS News Agency may be able to get you to the next level as it is looking for an experienced reporter to join its busy newsroom providing stories in a fast paced environment for the national press.
The role is varied and you should be able to switch between covering high profile court cases and inquests to soaking up the atmosphere at Royal Ascot and Henley Royal Regatta.
We file to the broadsheets, red tops and the Sundays as well as the international press, radio and TV.
Candidates must be able to competently cover court cases and tribunals and then be able to get on the road to chase up the next big story, whether at the scene of a murder, a political scandal or quirky crime.
This position will keep you on your toes and allow you to excel and impress in your journalistic career.
Concentrating on middle England - and the rougher bits as well - we cover stories from the South Coast to Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. The right person for the job will learn skills the national newspapers are looking for in their staff and you are quite likely to be head-hunted within a year or so.
You will be NCTJ-trained and an all rounder who has lots of enthusiasm, ambition, good shorthand, a clean driving licence and a car.
