Winners and losers as Lotto mania hits the Argus

Lotto-mania hit The Argus in Brighton when a real-time breaking exclusive hit its website.

News of a UK multi-million pound winner of the Euro lottery had reached the south coast - and even better... the winner was from its Sussex news patch. Bognor to be precise.

Reporters were dispatched to the story, with no fewer than three different bylines assigned to the overnight stories, despite breaking news elsewhere that the winner was in fact from Scotland.

So at 6.50pm the following story hits the website:
