Friday Funnies: Here chicky chicky!

It has been a few weeks since we brought you some hilarity from the press and media but at least the sun's been out. Thankfully, we've now got a bumper selection for you, starting today followed by another helping next Friday.

All this comedy means a huge 'THANK YOU' must go out to all our readers who have sent them in. Please keep forwarding links and screen grabs to: editor.htfp@and.co.uk.

And it seems Leicester Mercury acting editor Keith Perch acknowledged exactly this fact recently in a blog post about an MPs' expenses story the paper ran:

A warning worth heeding from the Rugby Observer.....shopping is a dangerous practice and should not be taken lightly:

A little correction from Aberdeen daily the Press and Journal, courtesy of allmediascotland.com:

Going overseas now to the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation for our final funny of the day. Perhaps the birds were just looking for a good vantage point on the new roof?
