"Posh and Becks" targeted by vandals – and the world knows about it

A Belfast Telegraph story about "Posh and Becks" being the victims of vandalism has been picked up as far afield as America and Australia.

Both Fox News and the Courier Mail, in Queensland, covered the story of Gerard and Elizabeth Donnelly being targeted by vandals.

The Belfast couple hit the headlines in 2003 when they changed their names to David and Victoria Beckham and their house to Beckingham Palace.

But now they have had to board up their home and install CCTV after teenage thugs smashed the ground floor windows.

David says he will now just paint over the boards in a bid to make the property look better.

The couple believe they have become the victims of widespread antisocial behaviour rather than their "celebrity" status.

For everyone's sake Gerad & Elizabeth, "get a life". Is your life so sad that you even need to think about copying this very overrated, overpaid, so called celeb couple?
