PCC initiative heads for Edinburgh

The Press Complaints Commission is to hold an open day in Edinburgh as part of an initiative to increase awareness of its services.

The event will be held at the Balmoral Hotel on Thursday, May 13, and follows a similar event in Manchester last September.

Members of the commission, including chairman Sir Christopher Meyer, will be on hand during the day to answer questions about the work of the PCC, and Sir Christopher will also make a speech.

Another open day is also planned in Cardiff later in the year, in what looks set to become a regular series of town meetings that will take place around Great Britain.

Anyone who would like more information about the events should contact Tonia Milton or David Carter on 020 7353 1248.
