Nick gets shirty overcity "slur"

They think it's all over - but it's not for the Potteries.

The city of Stoke-on-Trent is continuing its fight back after a survey found it the worst place to live in Britain.

The celebrities from TV's hit sports quiz They Think It's All Over donned the specially-designed t-shirts after the latest recording to give their backing to host Nick Hancock's home.

  • Who said it was all over?
  • But Stoke still came in for some stick on the show, branded a "living museum" in Friday's episode.

But trend-setting Jonathan Ross wore his own designed version of the campaign t-shirt after the show and former cricketer David Gower also wore his with pride.

Nick Hancock said: "Jonathan and the others have a go about Stoke-on-Trent but I don't react so they soon stop.

"The Potteries is a great place to live, but Potteries people already know that."
