Photgrapher turns talent to writing

The writers of Lincoln's popular The Way We Were supplement have pooled their talents to compile a book about historic Lincoln: Lincoln at Christmas, Memories in Photographs.

  • Peter Washbourn
  • It has been put together by husband and wife team Peter and Pat Washbourn, and it has gone on sale at the Echo offices as a timely stocking-filler.

Peter was a photographer at the Echo for many years before retiring from behind the lens and taking up the 'bygones' pages.

The new book is packed with pictures and nostalgic text looking at the children, churches, choirs, parents and business people who have helped make Christmas in Lincoln so special over the years.
