A Scottish journalist has been honoured by campaign group Amnesty International for a piece highlighting the use of rape as a weapon of war in the Congo.
Lucy Adams, of The Herald, published her winning entry 'The Fight for Justice' in the paper's magazine last September.
The Amnesty prizes are awarded to journalists whose work highlights human rights issues. Lucy was named the winner in the nations and regions category.
The judges described her work as "an extraordinary piece of journalism. One of the best arguments we have read in a long long time. Just brilliant from start to finish; terrific, compelling."
Lucy also won the title two years ago, for 'Haunted,' another piece that appeared in The Herald Magazine.
