Holdthefrontpage has been nominated for a prize at the Newspaper Society's Advertising & Digital Media Awards - having been shortlisted in the competition every year since the site's launch.

We are among those in with a chance of scooping this year's Niche Website of the Year award - a prize we won in 2003 and 2004.

The awards celebrate regional press excellence in advertising and digital media initiatives, and winners will be announced at black-tie event at The Brewery in London on October 10.

Digital categories include Niche Website of the Year, Web Design of the Year, Newspaper Website of the Year and Digital Innovation of the Year.

A host of advertising awards will also be presented.

Other nominees include Archant Regional, Associated Northcliffe Digital, Johnston Press Digital Publishing and ncjMedia.

The Belfast Telegraph, Blackpool Gazette, Hull Daily Mail, Lancashire Evening Post, Manchester Evening News and Newbury Weekly News are also shortlisted.
