The best journalism talent in Yorkshire will be honoured next month, at the Yorkshire Press Awards.

The annual competition, sponsored by Yorkshire Water, this year received a record number of entries, and judges have now drawn up a shortlist.

The winners will be announced during a ceremony at the Thorpe Park Hotel and Spa in Leeds on November 15.

The black tie event will be hosted by Harry Gration, presenter of BBC Look North.
