The cream of Yorkshire journalism has been honoured at an awards ceremony in Wakefield.
Reporters, subs and photographers were competing for prizes in 12 categories including news, sport, features and community journalists, columnists, junior reporters, photographers and graphic artists.
The master of ceremonies was David Edmondson, managing director of Sheffield Newspapers, which organised the event, and the awards were handedout by Richard Emmott, head of communications at sponsors Yorkshire Water.
The winners of each category received £150 prize-money, a glass trophy and a certificate. Runners-up were handed £50 each and a certificate.
The outright Yorkshire Journalist of the Year won an additional £500 and a glass rose bowl.
He was named as Andrew Vine, of the Yorkshire Post, who had already won the News Feature Writer of the Year (Daily Newspapers) award and was runner-up in the General Feature Writer of the Year (Daily Newspapers) category.
He took home a total of £700 in prize money, the glass rose bowl, a trophy and his certificates.
Margaret Watson, of the Dewsbury Reporter, won £300 and two glass trophies as News Reporter of the Year (Weekly Newspapers) and General Feature Writer of the Year (Weekly Newspapers).
Judges described the pair as: "Two reporters who make a big contribution to their newspapers - whether a famous morning paper or a community centred weekly. Both performed outstandingly in two award categories.
"Andrew Vine takes the Yorkshire Journalist of the Year title for his superb writing and his ability to tackle such varied subjects."
