Design a plus for Herald

The Glasgow Herald has been honoured with three awards of excellence in the European Newspaper of the Year design awards for 2001.

It faced competition from more than 180 newspapers from 22 countries.

The Herald won awards for its front page, its Weekend Sport and Monday Sport front pages, and also for its Weekend Living in the supplements category.

  • The Herald Magazine was voted the UK's best designed newspaper supplement in the Magazine Design Awards earlier this year.
