ITN news presenter Dermot Murnaghan will be guest speaker and presenter of the Press Gazette regional press awards in July.

Mr Murnaghan is a former Coventry Evening Telegraph reporter and he trained on the City University postgraduate journalism course in London.

The awards lunch will be held at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London, on July 7.

Co-presenting the awards will be Press Gazette editor Philippa Kennedy.
