Two entries stood out in the BT Southern Home Counties Radio News Broadcaster of the Year Award. The winners was John Warnett, from BBC Radio Kent, who impressed the judges with his ability to make presenting the busy breakfast show appear easy. BBC Radio Kent's Miriam Quayyum was highly commended.
