David Litterick, formerly of The News, Portsmouth, and now working for the Daily Telegraph, was named the BT Southern Home Counties Business Journalist of the Year. Judges commented: "His wide range of journalistic skills were clearly evident in the three pieces of work he submitted". Runners-up were James Scott of the Crawley Observer and the Basingstoke Gazette's Liz Woodford.
