Sister local TV stations nominated for awards

MadeTwo sister local television stations have been nominated for awards celebrating the best of northern media.

Made in Leeds and Made in Tyne & Wear has each been shortlisted for the Prolific North Awards, which will be held next month.

Made in Leeds’ ‘On The Aire – When Local Went Live’ entry has been shortlisted for the Broadcasting Programme – News and Factual Award.

In the Broadcasting Programme – Entertainment category, Made in Tyne & Wear’s ‘Made With Pride’ show has been shortlisted.

Both channels are run by Made Television, which currently runs six city-based stations across the United Kingdom as is set to launch two more in the coming months.
