A city TV station journalist has been honoured with an award by the Royal Television Society.

Mark Kielesz-Levine was presented with the News or Current Affairs Reporter Award by the Yorkshire branch of the RTS.

Mark is presenter and anchor for the On The Aire daily news programme broadcast by TV channel Made in Leeds.

The On The Aire team was also shortlisted at this year’s ceremony for the News Or Current Affairs Story category.

Said Mark: “I am absolutely delighted to have won this Award which truly is a fantastic honour.

“It wouldn’t have been achievable without the support of my Made in Leeds and On The Aire colleagues and I hope this reflects the great things we do on the channel.

“I’d also like to reserve special thanks to all of those that trusted me to tell their stories.”
