Regional press entries are being invited for an international horse racing photography competition.
Tattersalls, Europe’s Leading Bloodstock Auctioneers, have joined forces with racing magazine International Thoroughbred for the Horse Racing Photo Competition, which carries a £500 prize.
Entrants can make unlimited submissions across three categories – professional, amateur and Youtuber.
The professional category is open to those with professional media accreditation, passes, photography business websites or who make the majority of their income from photography.
Entries must be bloodstock or racing-related, human, equine or scenic.
The closing date for entries in 31 December 2016.
More information can be found on the competition’s website.
Bit insensitive or badly timed considering the number of professional press photographers who’ve found themselves cast aside in favour of reader supplied snaps
