If you’re printing a story about dementia, it’s probably not the best idea to forget how to spell it in the headline.
The above story from the Coalville Times was spotted by Hinckley Times story editor Isaac Ashe, who described it on Twitter as “pretty dim.”
Bloody hell, young Isaac is taking a risk pointing out another paper’s mistakes. Let’s hope, for his sake, that everything his paper touches is perfect for the foreseeable future. Time was, you had a professional kinship and sympathy with neighbouring/rival papers. You would NEVER crow about their mistakes. Beware the Law of Sod, it’s coming to get you…..

Dementia. A gross affliction which leaves people in a state where they can’t even recognise themselves, let alone other people, and who eke out their final years in misery and despair. Amusing indeed.
