A big coat might be advisable attire for a bracing walk on the moors of Yorkshire, but whether it’s large enough to accommodate the world’s largest offshore wind farm is another matter.

Presumably it’s just off the cape?

My dad who is more Yorkshire than I often calls jacket style coats windjammers so having turbines off a coat perhaps makes sense.
Still, it highlights the cuts at this once proud newspaper.

Cue loads of smart jokes and puns but as a 317-year-old curmudgeon can anyone seriously explain how this got so far? Honestly… no messing. How on earth did this happen?

Dick – I think the phrase “got so far” is where you’re struggling here. These days, there’s not a great deal of distance from start to finish. One person writes it. The same person checks it (if time allows). The same person presses ‘publish’. Job done.
