Nominations are now being welcomed for an annual set of media awards celebrating the best of journalism in Yorkshire and the Humber.

There are a total of 21 categories up for grabs at this years O2 Media Awards, including a new accolade set up to celebrate the work of regional magazines.

A special O2 Stand Out Award has also been introduced to acknowledge outstanding achievement among individuals and teams.

Deadline for entries is 15 June, with work published or broadcast between 2 May 2015 and 1 May 2016 eligible for the individual and team categories.

Judging panels will meet in June and July and shortlisted nominees in this year’s categories will be announced in August.

All nominees will be invited to a memorable awards presentation evening in October 2016 where category winners will be revealed.
