Scottish Newspaper Society launches new site

The Scottish Newspaper Society has launched a new website and blog as part of a push to raise awareness of the value of the press in Scotland.

SNS director John McLellan says its new site is more flexible than its previous one, with a much better picture display.

Concurrently, SNS has also hired PR firm BIG Partnership to help it develop new campaigns to raise awareness of the Scottish media among the business community, with more details to be revealed in the coming weeks.

Said John: “The purpose will be to raise awareness amongst key business decision-makers about the continued relevance and value of Scottish newspaper companies and their products – print or digital – in reaching their customers.”
