Entries for the 2013 Society of Editors’ Regional Press Awards are now open from today until 7 March.

would-be entrants for the industry’s premier awards can register at www.theregionalpressawards.org.uk with the £25 entry fee frozen for the third successive year.

Held in association with HoldtheFrontPage and the Press Association, the awards aim to celebrate the best of regional and local journalism in print and online and are also backed by the Newspaper Society and Camelot.

This year’s awards ceremony and lunch will take place at the at the London Lancaster Hotel on Friday 16 May 2014.
