A new publisher has been appointed to lead Local World’s titles in South West Wales.

Lisa Cameron, currently a regional sales director for the company, will head up the South West Wales Media division, which includes the South Wales Evening Post and Llanelli Star.

She has previously worked for SWWM in various commercial roles including classified manager, advertising director and commercial director.

Said Lisa: “I am delighted to be returning to South West Wales Media. It is a centre that is very close to my heart having worked in the business for so long previously.”

Lisa will report to Mark Sainsbury, managing director Devon & Cornwall and South West Wales Media.

Mark recently added the South Wales titles to his existing portfolio after the previous MD, Tony Dowling, was seconded to work on what the company is calling “a major Welsh-wide development project.”
