Regional publisher Johnston Press has launched a new three-pronged awards scheme to celebrate the work of its staff.
The company’s Employee Recognition Programme will include ‘On the spot” awards marking exceptional contributions,, where recipients will receive shopping vouchers for £50.
There will also be quarterly business recognition awards in each of the company’s regional publishing units, with winners receiving shopping vouchers worth £100, while the annual JP Awards will marking outstanding contributions over the course of a year in a range of categories.
A spokesman described the initiative as providing the opportunity for positive and immediate feedback, and “formal or informal recognition for exceptional contributions from individuals or teams.”

Trust that managers and directors exempt. I think most people are aware of their contribution to the current fortunes of the company
