Trinity Mirror to create new advertising roles

Trinity Mirror’s national advertising sales agency (nasa) is to create 18 new roles in its creative solutions department.

The new roles include account directors, a creative editorial director, planning managers and a sponsorship director.

They will work as part of nasa’s ‘Invention’ team whose role will be to deliver bespoke multi-platform advertising and sponsorship packages for advertisers and agencies.

Mark Field, director of Invention, said: “This is a fantastic development for nasa and one that will benefit our advertisers.”

“As we accelerate the growth of our digital brands across the group the team will be perfectly placed to offer highly-creative and bespoke multi-platform solutions.

Trinity’s chief operating officer Mark Hollinshead added:  “We are focused on becoming one of the UK’s leading multi-platform publishers and this investment represents a significant step in that direction.”
