A regional radio boss has gone back to his PR business – less than a year after taking over four stations.

John Dash, Yorkshire’s content director for magazine publisher Bauer Media, has already left the company.

He’s now running his own consultancy, John Dash PR & Media, again after overseeing Radio Aire, Viking FM, Hallam FM and Magic Yorkshire.

John – a former chairman of the Variety Club Children’s Charity of Wales – was previously programme director at Piccadilly Radio in the mid-90s and group programme director of UTV Media.

Owen Ryan, group content director of Bauer Place North of England and Scotland, said John had decided to “leave the business to restart his successful PR and media business and wish him all the very best for the future.”
