Local World has announced a new publisher for its magazines and websites in the Blackmore Vale area of Dorset.

Clair Pengilly, left, currently commercial director for Blackmore Vale, will now become publisher for the business, which includes the Blackmore Vale magazine and its associated website.

Sarah Pullen, managing director of Local World in Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Dorset, said:  “Clair has done a tremendous job managing the commercial side of the business and developing content platforms alongside the editorial team.”

Her appointment follows that of Tim Lethaby as editor of the magazine earlier this year.
