Entries for the Society of Editors Regional Press Awards for 2013 close this Friday, 7 March.

The awards, sponsored by UK Power Networks and held in association with HoldtheFrontPage and the Press Association, aim to celebrate regional and local journalism in print and on corresponding digital platforms.

Entry to the awards costs £25 and further details on how to enter can be found at www.regionalpressawards.org.uk.

Shortlists are due to be published in mid-April and the awards ceremony and lunch will take place at the at the London Lancaster Hotel on Friday 16 May 2014.
