A journalist who became a sustainability correspondent for a regional publisher has moved to a new role as a news feature writer.

Tara Greaves, left, has been seconded for the last two and a half years to Archant’s corporate team where she spearheaded initiatives designed to make the company “greener.”

She has now moved to become a news feature writer for the Eastern Daily Press and Norwich Evening News and will also remain part of the sustainability team.

Tara always planned to return to her first love of writing, although she was initially expected to only be away for one year.

She said: “It’s been a great two-and-a-half years and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I have met some passionate and committed people who really want to make a difference and I want to thank everyone who has helped to push sustainability forward in Archant.

“However, I have really missed writing full-time and I am delighted and really excited to be going back to the news room to take on this new role.”
