Generous Ipswich Star readers rallied round to help after nursery school children were left saddened when their playhouse was stolen.

Thieves pinched the £150 flat pack playhouse, bought using money raised by staff and parents, after a delivery driver left it in a next to the nursery.

After the story was featured in the Star, readers came forward offering to lend a helping hand.

The nursery has now replaced the lost equipment.
