Regional publisher Johnston Press has launched a county-wide website to help parents choose the right school for their children.

The publisher’s 15 titles across Sussex have joined forces to launch Education Sussex, which highlights the schools and colleges across the county.

The website aims to enable parents and their children the chance to browse and compare the schools available in their area.

JP titles behind the new website include the West Sussex County Times, West Sussex Gazette, Crawley Observer, Chichester Observer and the Eastbourne Herald.

In a story about the launch, Paul Ashby, digital manager for Johnston Press South, said: “We’ve created a unique authoritative platform, I’m confident the trusted reviews, professional videos and the open events will really benefit prospective parents and students across Sussex.”

Each school featured on the new site has been visited by journalists working for the titles and information about them includes a message from the head teacher, photo gallary, testimonials and a video.
