The National Union of Journalists is staging a public debate on the phone hacking scandal and its impact on the profession.
The event entitled “The Phone-Hacking Scandal: Journalism on Trial?” will take place at Coventry University London Campus, London E1, on 7 February, to coincide with the launch of a book of the same name by Richard Lance Keeble and John Mair.
Media pundit Ray Snoddy will chair a five-person panel including Bob Satchwell, executive director of the Society of Editors.
