Book on phone hacking scandal updated for new edition

A book about the impact of phone hacking scandal on journalism will be updated for a second edition this Autumn.

The Phone Hacking Scandal: Journalism on Trial was first published in February with 30 contributions from well-known figures in the media, edited by John Mair, a Coventry University journalism lecturer, and Richard Lance Keeble.

The book, published by Abramis, has now been updated with new material including new chapters from media commentators Raymond Snoddy and Roy Greenslade and former Sunday Times editor Sir Harold Evans about the Leveson Inquiry into Press Standards.

It will be published on 15 October, which is around the same time Lord Justice Leveson is due to deliver his first report from the inquiry.
