A newspaper and magazine publisher based in Scotland has launched an online deals website.

Dundee-based Thomson & Co Ltd has created www.beezerdeals.com, a discount website offering deals on products and services from restaurants and hotels, to beauty treatments, car MOT’s, local entertainment and theatre.

It will target over a quarter of a million customers in Tayside and Fife and comes after the redesign of the company’s Dundee and Aberdeen-based newspapers The Courier, and The Press and Journal.

The company also produces The Beano and The Dandy – two of the UK’s longest-running and most successful children’s publications.
