Regional publisher DC Thomson has expanded its online deals site BeezerDeals to cover more of its titles.

The company launched BeezerDeals earlier this year in Tayside and Fife but has now extended its reach to Aberdeen, where it will operate in partnership with The Press and Journal and the Evening Express.

Head of commercial Mark Hopkins said: “This exciting digital development will help us to reach a wider audience and build on our existing customer base. It also demonstrates our continued investment across multimedia platforms.”

BeezerDeals was launched in Tayside and Fife in February and since then, more than 6,200 deals have been purchased, generating savings for customers of more than £155,000.

The deals site aims to offer savings of up to 70pc on products and services such as restaurants, hotels and beauty treatments.
