A team from a group of newspapers in Yorkshire are set to take part in a It’s a Knockout style competition.

Journalists and sales representatives from the Batley and Birstall News, Dewsbury Reporter, Mirfield Reporter and Spenborough Guardian will be taking part in the competition on 24 June.

The contest, based on the classic television programme, will pit teams of 10 against each other as they take on giant inflatable obstacle courses, pools of water and gallons of foam.

Money raised will go towards supporting residents and pupils of Hollybank, a school for young people and adults with complex disabilities, and every team taking part has to raise at least £700.
