Citizen journalism website Blottr has launched a new channel for visitors to the Olympics to upload their experiences.

The company has launched The People’s Olym-PICS channel where people can upload content, videos and photos from the Games via the Blottr Android or iPhone apps or the website.

It will also include news coverage of Olympic events and feature a modern history of the Olympics and profiles of participating athletes from less prominent countries in the world.

The best photo used from every contributor will be turned into a fridge magnet and supplied free of charge as a keepsake from the Games.
