Two budding reporters interviewed Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton as part of a work experience placement with the National Council for the Training of Journalists.

Jessica Dyer and Katie Tomlin, from Saffron Walden County High School, carried out the interview with the presenter when she visited the town as part of Blue Peter’s Big Olympic Tour.

During the interview, the students asked her about how she got into journalism, the Olympics and her daredevil achievements for charity.

Jessica and Katie were on work experience at the NCTJ for two weeks and their interview was published on the organisation’s website and by the Saffron Walden Reporter.
