Archant has taken on a managing director of exhibitions and events for its magazine division.

Mike Sherrard has joined Archant Lifestyle to help develop a third route to market, alongside print and digital.

Mike’s portfolio will include the Wedding Link business covering exhibition, fairs, websites and bride magazines.

Archant Lifestyle MD, Miller Hogg, said: “This move will enable Lifestyle to develop a three-pronged media approach to our markets – in print, in person, online.”

Said Mike: “Print and digital are areas in which Archant already has strength in depth in a wide range of different communities and the planned increased investment in live events and exhibitions will complement these existing strengths.”
