Regional publisher Archant Suffolk has relaunched its free weeklies the Bury Mercury and Sudbury Mercury with what it calls a ‘fresh and modern feel’.
The new-look papers include a four-page supplement in the centre pages with user-generated copy sent in by readers.
Mercury editor Russell Cook said: “We’re really proud of our new look Mercury and we’ve been really encouraged by the comments received so far. We’ve had a great response from readers sending user generated copy to us which is being used in a special four page supplement.”
As part of the relaunch, a new ‘brand-to-hand’ team has been created, pictured below, to give out copies of the newspapers on the streets of Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury on publication days.
