Would-be journalists have just days left to apply for a bursary through the Journalism Diversity fund.

The fund is aimed at people from ethnically and socially diverse backgrounds who want to train in journalism on a National Council for the Training of Journalists’ accredited course but don’t have the financial means to do so.

Applications currently being taken are for course starting between September and August 2012. The fund covers the cost of the course and exams and contributions to living costs.
