A former editor of Liverpool’s Daily Post has landed a senior role at a leading public relations agency in the city.
Jane Wolstenholme, left, who also writes fiction under the nom-de-plume Jane Costello, has become director of corporation public relations at Kenyon Fraser.
Her roster of clients currently includes Merseytravel, The Royal Liverpool University Hospital and Smokefree Liverpool.
She said: “Kenyon Fraser is a fantastic company and I’ve been bowled over by the creativity and enthusiasm of its staff – and how hard they work to get results for their clients.
“The firm has grown significantly in the last two years and I’m extremely excited about being a part of that success.”
Managing director Richard Kenyon added: “Jane brings a wealth of media experience and contacts to the business following her time both as a journalist and as a PR consultant.
“We’re absolutely delighted to have her on board.”

Yes, given the demeaning of the profession over the last couple of decades even taking a role in a PR agency to write press releases eulogising about the merits of Pedigree Chum or whatever has to be seen as a step up
