Passing up paternity potential

There are many things which could make someone fearful of harming their career prospects – abusing the office internet, “getting to know” the boss’ daughter……and paternity leave.

A new report suggests that around half of all new dads are refusing to take their two weeks of paternity leave due to fears it could damage their career chances.

But is this something affecting certain professions or just certain geographical areas? Or both?

What about local self-help and new parent groups? Are dads trying so hard to please the boss at work, they end up neglecting the “boss” at home?
