The great and the good from the East of England’s media gathered in Norwich yesterday for the 2008 EDF Energy Media Awards.

Among the winners was Jon Austin from the Echo, Basildon, who picked up the Daily Print Journalist of the Year for the third consecutive year while Ipswich title the Evening Star was crowned best Daily Newspaper.
