The blog written by reporter Adrian Sudbury who died of leukaemia this week will be turned into a book.

Adrian, who chronicled his battle with disease on his popular Baldy’s Blog, had been planning behind the scenes to turn his many entries and reader comments into a book.

Baldy’s Book is due out next month and will also include family photos and pictures from his time as a reporter on the Huddersfield Daily Examiner.

A foreword has been written for the book by Prime Minister Gordon Brown who is a supporter of Adrian’s campaign to put bone marrow education on the sixth form college curriculum.

It says: “My father told me when I was young that everyone has the chance to make their mark on this world, whether for good or bad. Adrian has left his mark for good.”

All profits from the book will go to Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust. It is priced at £7.00 plus £.150 P+P and available from www.merseyshop.com or 0845 143 0001.
