The online Hinkley Times has been shortlisted for the 2001 Newspaper Awards.

The website has been named one of the best weekly papers on the world wide web in the awards along with six other electronic titles.

Hinkley Times sports editor Ian Davies maintains the website, which underwent a complete re-design last year with the help of icCoventry internet manager Paul Gilroy.

The 2001 Newspaper Awards are presented in association with Production Journal and Fujifilm Graphic Services and the ceremony will take place at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London on April 4.
