A photographer from the Leigh Journal, who bears more than a passing resemblance to Sven Goran is preparing for an on-screen sporting double.

Photographer Colin Lyne, who has already appeared on Channel Four’s Big Breakfast, will begin filming for a promotional film for Sky Sports today.

And on Sunday, he will take part in a show hosted by Des O’Connor called ‘Stars and Their Double’ which is expected to be screened later this year.

Colin’s likeness to the current England football manager was spotted by his colleagues and he has signed up to a look-a-like agency to capitalise on his uncanny likeness to England’s Swedish supremo.

He said: “Things were quiet for bit but with the England versus Germany match in October, the phone’s been ringing a lot more.

“I’ve been watching dozens of videos of Sven to try and match his accent and mannerisms. I think I’m getting there but I still don’t know the first thing about football.”
