Small screen beckons for Liz

Yorkshire Evening Post sub editor Liz Carnell, who is also the director of the charity Bullying Online at www.bullying.co.uk was a speaker at this week’s national Kidscape conference in London.

She spoke to an audience of 300, including teachers, police and educationists on cyberbullying, including mobile phone text abuse, abusive email, hate websites and internet safety.

In addition to the web work, Liz has just finished filming for a new Canadian TV programme 21C on text phone bullying.

The programme will be shown on the national station CTV across the whole of North America on January 27.

Meanwhile, the Bullying Online website has received another accolade.

It has been approved by the Government’s National Grid for Learning and the associated Virtual Teacher Centre.
